Extensions (Renewals)

New explicit controls on issue extensions are now available.

Each borrower type allows you to store the number of times an issue can be extended.

Borrower Search on Issue

When triggering a borrower search during the issue process, Athenaeum Pro 2014 presents the first name and last name searches simultaneously.

By default, this borrower search now excludes inactive borrowers.

Clicking the “show inactive” button button will include inactive borrowers (who are shown in red).

New Command Buttons

Two commands have been moved from the Utility screen to the Command Menu.

This is to increase visibility for these commands, as we get the occasional feature request asking for these very commands!

Reset these due dates

This command was on the utility tab. It is now more obvious that the librarian can bulk override the due dates for the found set of circulation issues. (Use with care, of course).

Return these

This command was on the utility tab. This is a quick way to return the found set of issues.

Fast Issue and wildcards

Fast Issue mode (that is, issue mode when you specify “go” as the borrower) now allows “?” triggering of borrower last names as well as last name matching on the fly.
