In no particular order:

Amount paid field in bold, not just replacement cost (per request)
longer last transaction length display, larger default fonts
catalogue archive (the place where books go to die) is visually more different to reduce the chance of confusion with the live catalogue
QR Codes for bar code images stored externally
changed the way issue history records store borrower detail
supplier code is no longer pre-filled from the last visited record when creating a new item. (note: duplicating an item WILL copy that supplier)
Registration is simpler - shorter registration codes are confirmed against one of the librarysoftware.co.nz servers and automatically loads your organisation name
internal structure change: reduction in file numbers. borrower types rolled into borrower; catalog support and catalogue archive rolled into catalogue (future Athenaeum versions will continue this trend)
reserve enhancements
changes to way full window container displayed
Item type no longer shows a warning when adding a new type
Adjustments to MARC file import…trims Byte Order Marc (BOM) if found (a small issue with some MARC suppliers)

Server side scripts

There are two server side scripts that can be configured for libraries hosting Athenaeum Pro with FileMaker Server 13.

This script currently performs three maintenance tasks:

generates the list of 45 Top Ranking Titles issued over the last 60 days
“tickles” Borrower records (which updates various counters, indices and display values)
“tickles” titles and subjects (updating search indices on those fields as well as building flexi-spellings and so on)

This script synchronises the Copies and Titles, which can become out of synch when certain manual bulk operations are performed.
